Born in Alabama, Susan's family relocated to Wichita, Kansas when she was just two due to her father's career in the aircraft industry. She spent the rest of her childhood growing up in several parts of the area, truly making Wichita and the surrounding area her home. As a young girl, she developed a love for the outdoors and an appreciation for nature, as well as a passion for traveling and exploring new places. Much of her summers were spent camping, boating and fishing with family or going on other vacations. After graduating from the University of Kansas with a degree in environmental studies, she came back home to Wichita to work as an environmental health specialist for the city and county for ten years. Today, when this busy professional isn't helping clients with their most important investments, she enjoys spending her free time with family and friends, traveling with her husband, Drew, every chance they get, and remodeling and decorating their home.
